Our flagship Store and Garden Center is located on our campus in Brookshire, Texas. Here you can bring family and friends to shop in our store and colorful seasonal Garden Center, then enjoy a delicious lunch in the adjacent Café.

At Brookwood, we are proud to rely on the social enterprise model to provide meaningful work to our Citizens. Our Citizens work in their area of expertise, working Monday through Friday. A Citizen with an eye for detail and strong fine motor skills might work in Ceramics whereas a Citizen who likes to move and be outside could work in Horticulture. Brookwood prides itself in “start to finish” products, meaning we can start with a block of raw clay and end with a stunning artisan serving platter with different Citizens completing one or more small step within the process. Each product will have the blessing of being touched by the working hands of up to a dozen individual Citizens. By awakening the natural gifts within our Citizens and matching those gifts to a step or steps in our “start to finish” products, each Citizen contributes their unique talent to the process.Work ProgramOnline Store

Come visit our amazing Citizen supported Garden Center where we grow approximately 210,000 top quality plants a year in 48 greenhouses. More than 100 Citizens work here daily utilizing and expanding their unique skillsets and finding genuine purpose for life.

HORTICULTURE
Brookwood Citizens are famous for growing poinsettias! The Brookwood Horticulture enterprise produces approximately 50,000 poinsettias a year and provides meaningful work to over 100 adults with disabilities. Our Citizens are passionate about nurturing the vibrant poinsettias and take great pride in producing a quality product for you to enjoy.
Brookwood wants your church, club, and organization fundraiser to be a success. Please contact us to set and confirm your starting quantity, delivery date, and details before you start your project.
