Do piglins drop obsidian? ›

There is a high chance that the players will get an obsidian block from bartering. More precisely, there is an 8.71% chance of players getting this block from Piglins. This is a great way to get the strong block as it takes a lot of time to mine for it.

Some of the items piglins can give you are gravel blocks, potions of fire resistance, ender pearls, string, obsidian and more.

Once a piglin notices a free piece of gold on the ground, they'll run over, pick it up, and begin to inspect the gold. Every time this transaction occurs, there's a list of 18 various items to be gained.

If the player distracts them with a gold item and equips a piece of gold armor while the piglin is examining the item, then the piglin ceases hostility. They may also cease hostility if distracted enough times.

Simple, you would just head up to a zombified piglin and throw a potion of weakness at it but what it requires instead of golden apples are golden carrots (make's sense cuz normal pigs can be bred with carrots). Once you have waited long enough, the zombified piglin with turn back into a regular piglin.

Probably the most important characteristic of the Piglins is their love for gold. They love everything that is made of gold or that is related to gold. Piglins will drop everything for gold, even trading higher value Netherite or Diamond armor for gold armor.

A piglin brute has 8.5% chance of dropping a golden axe with a random durability if killed by a player or a tamed wolf, increased by 1% with each level of Looting, with a total 11.5% chance with Looting III. 20 experience points are dropped upon death if killed by a player or a tamed wolf.

Baby piglins do not grow up, never hold weapons or attack, and take gold without giving anything in return.

Trading has been changed, expert-level cleric villagers now sell an ender pearl for 5 emeralds as part of their trade. Ender pearls can now be obtained from bartering with piglins. Ender pearls now have a ¹⁰⁄₄₅₉ (~2.18%) chance of being offered by piglins when bartering, in a stack size of 2–4.

Piglins despawn if you go far away from the chunk they are in!

When Zombie Piglins are killed by player the drop gold ingots and experience but gold farms use entity cramming which count as player kill (When Aggressive At Player). They only drop experience when killed by entity cramming (Also Aggressive At Player). They don't drop the gold ingots.

Most mobs that lean both ways, like Spiders and Iron Golems, have to be provoked to attack. Just being near a Piglin isn't the only way to anger them. Even if you're wearing golden armor, you can still cause them to turn on you if you damage another Piglin, open a chest, or break some of the Piglins' nearby Gold.

In order to barter with them, you'll have to wear at least one piece of Gold armor. If you don't wear at least one Gold piece, they'll attack you when you approach. After you're equipped, you'll have to give the Piglin in question a Gold Ingot. It'll look at the ingot for a bit and then toss you a random item.

Piglins are neutral mobs that spawn in crimson forests, nether wastes, and bastion remnants. Piglins are also armed with crossbows and gold swords. An easy way to make them friendly with you is to wear any piece of gold armor.

Piglins are known to attack any player with no gold equipment. They'll also attack players who attack other Piglins or Pigline Brutes. They'll also attack you if you break/open any of the items listed below. If you break any type of Gold Ore around them, that'll provoke them into attacking you.

If the Player is wearing at least one piece of Gold Armor, the Piglin will not attack them. Piglins are passive on Peaceful Difficulty.
