Each character is great in its own way, but if you play solo, Remi should be your go-to hero for various reasons. Besides having a sick bomber jacket, her abilities make her the most well-rounded character. Below is a full breakdown of how her abilities make her the best.
Siren
With Siren, you'll have the ability to command her robot-like dog Bribon. You won't have to do anything to unlock it because as soon as you load into the game, it's the first ability you start with.
What makes Bribon so valuable is that it's a multipurpose ability. No matter where you are, the robot is right next to you, and if enemies are close enough to it, Bribon will automatically attack them.
When you command it to go somewhere, enemies will ignore you and lock on to it, giving you enough time to either run away and heal up or take out whoever's left.
This is even more helpful when you're playing by yourself because if you're trying to sneak around a group of enemies, all you need to do is send out Bribon to distract them. Or, if you plan on picking them all off from afar, send out your robot and begin taking shots with a sniper.
C4 Charge
The C4 Charge is by far one of the most useful items to use for her. All you have to do is activate it, throw toward a crowd of enemies, and blow it up.

These become especially dangerous once they're upgraded because you can increase the range of the explosion, how much damage they do, and how quickly they recharge.
Mobilize
Mobilize is Remis's final ability you unlock. This allows you to create a rallying point around you, and whenever you or a friend is standing in its radius, you'll begin to heal.
This ability shines whenever you find yourself out of med kits in the middle of a fight. Because all you have to do is take cover somewhere and use your ultimate, and within a few seconds, you'll be back to full health. Like her other abilities, this one only strengthens as you upgrade it over time.
Passive Abilities
Even her passive abilities have a significant impact if you play alone. Once you unlock Always Prepared, you can carry additional med kits. I Can Make That gives her a discount on all support items, and All Up In gives Remi a buff against humans when they're close. All these passive abilities give you the upper hand if you're playing alone with no backup.
How These Abilities Work Together
Now that you know her abilities, here's how they all work perfectly together, even if you're playing by yourself. The Siren is the bread and butter that'll make most of her abilities work well together.
The first combo you can use is sending having the Siren lure a bunch of enemies in one spot, and once they're all grouped up, throw a C4 in the middle to inflict as much damage as possible.

Another great way to use her abilities is if you find yourself low on health and overwhelmed by enemies. You'll need to command Siren once again, but this time have them go in the opposite direction as you. As soon as that happens, you should fall back and use Mobilize to bring your health back to 100.
That's not to mention her passive skills. They allow you to play more aggressively if you want to because you do more damage up close against humans, and you can carry more med kits.
